What EkSawariAur is

A place where somebody already driving between two cities can offer their spare seats, and somebody going the same way can take one. We are not a taxi company and we do not employ drivers. The journey is between the driver and the passenger; we provide the platform, hold the wallet, and settle the money.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over and give real details. A driver must have a valid licence, a roadworthy vehicle and the insurance the law requires, and must pass our document check before listing a car.

What a ride costs

The driver sets the fare per seat. On top of it:

• The passenger pays a 2% platform fee.
• The driver is charged 8% of the fare.
• The platform therefore keeps 10% of the fare in total.

The full amount is shown before you confirm a booking. Where an agent arranged the seat, they receive 4% of the fare — taken out of the platform's share, not added to it. A passenger booking through an agent pays exactly what they would pay booking directly, and the driver receives exactly the same.

Booking and cancelling

• A request the driver does not answer within 20 minutes expires on its own.
• Cancelling is free until the driver accepts, and for 5 minutes afterwards.
• After that, a passenger who cancels pays 2% of the fare.
• If the driver cancels or fails to start the trip within the grace period, passengers are refunded in full and the driver pays the same 2%.
• Repeated cancellations pause your ability to book — first a warning, then a temporary block.

The wallet

Top-ups are made by transferring to the account shown in the app and uploading the receipt; an admin confirms it. A wallet may go slightly negative so a completed ride can always be settled — down to Rs 200 for a passenger and Rs 5,000 for a driver. Past that, no new bookings until it is cleared.

Withdrawals are paid to the account you give, after an admin processes them. We may hold a payout while a dispute on the same account is open.

Conduct

Do not use the platform to arrange anything unlawful, do not carry goods you have not told the driver about, and do not abuse or endanger anyone. Accounts that do are closed, and a closed account does not forfeit money already earned — but it stops earning more.

Safety, honestly stated

We verify identity documents and we record ratings. We do not inspect vehicles, we are not present on the journey, and we cannot guarantee anyone's conduct. Travel with the same judgement you would use sharing a car with anyone else. The SOS button in the app alerts our team, but in an emergency call Rescue 1122 or the police first.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, EkSawariAur is not liable for what happens during a journey arranged through it, including accidents, delay, loss or injury. Our responsibility is the platform and the money that passes through it.

Changes

Fees and limits are set in the admin panel and can change. A change applies to bookings made after it, never to one already confirmed. Material changes are announced in the app.
